clutter free
Here is a collage I did after my artist melt down. I guess having a melt down is something we artist go through from time to time. Artistically I haven't been able to do much lately. Lot's of things going on in and around me. But this too shall pass. I'm trying to be patient, and wait it out.
This collage is much more calm for me. I like the calmness, and the quiet. There is too much noise and chaos in life.
My friend is having a garage sale this weekend and I'm taking some things over to sale, getting rid of some of the clutter, psychically and mentally.
Tomorrow is my 58th birthday.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Happy Birthday!
I love your collage. Is that a lady slipper (mocasin flower) ? Sure brought back memories of when I lived in MN.
OK MISSY! I AM SINGING (can you hear me)HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BETH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOOOO YOUUUUUUU AND MANY MORE.... (maybe it's better if you can't hear me!) Have a fun day! Sharon
Dearest Beth, Happy Birthday Dear Friend!!! We all have days when it seems like our creative muse takes a vacation without us, doesn't seem fair!!!We all experence it. But sometime all we need is alittle break. And it seems like you're on the right track!! I love your new work. You just get better all the time!! Have the Best Birthday Ever!!!!Blessings Sweet Friend, Deborah
Happy Birthday Beth!!!! I am a June baby also, and we are the same age, about the same, I have to get out my calculator, to be sure. HaHa! I really find your collage so restfull and fine. I am new to collage as well and struggle with less is more. I tend to over add stuff, so I admire anyone who does simple elegant forms like your example. I hope the world treats you well today, and that your celebration was fun.

I missed your Birthday! Happy Belated. Hope you spent it selfishly and decadently. My muse flew not long ago, too. Cleaning your art area and rediscovering papers, paint colors, tools you haven't used in a while can restart your engines. Looking through old magazines and checking out the graphics, composition of the ads and color combos has helped me in the past too. Keep plugging away, girlfriend!xoSusan
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I agree with you about math being scary - doesn't go with the art brain at all!!! We've had a lot of fun with our Art Floozies group (THREE potters, a blown glass artists and me); the topic we pulled out of the jar for next time is "Drama Queen"! I think I have some old photos that might actually work into a collage for that. I like your post recent piece - it has a very serene mood to it.
Hey Beth! I am so loving your art!! Please check out my blog. Something on there for you.
