Spring cleaning

Today I spent the day reorganizing and cleaning up my studio. I took the doors off the closet, took all the fabric out, turned the bookcase sideways under the window and stacked the fabric vertically. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! Maybe it looks weird, but it works for me. Now I can use the shelves in the closet for all the paint and collage stuff. Hey I'm happy. Now I can see the stuff that's been stuck here and stuck there. I'm kind of a neat freak, and I work better when things are in order. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It's been really windy and cold today. A good day to clean. Blessings to all.

Hi Beth,

I think turning the bookcase on its side is a wonderful idea! It seems a perfect way to store your fabric easily, and you can still organize it. It makes you think of new ways to use common items! Have a great week!

Ah after a weekend of goofing off I too decided to clean. Or should I say start to organize. You almost needed a shovel to enter my sewing studio. If you don't hear from me in a week send food and water. Your ideas are great. Looking good girl. Hugs, Sharon

Hi Beth- We don't make it there very often, either! I'm on the schedule for babysitting in the nursery, otherwise I don't know! I would love to go to that event April 25, we'll give it a try!
