This is my neice Kelsey when she was about 4. She's all grown up now, going to graduate soon from high school. She is gorgeous. I just love this girl. On the back of the photo my sister wrote, "Is Okie a part of the DNA structure? She looks spiffy"

I know its fuzzy, but I had to share this. Early morning on Saturday. A Great Horned Owl in the oak tree in the front of our house. It's mate was on the other branch. We can hear them hooting in the mornings, he actually looked straight at me after I took the picture, he is sooo beautiful. I haven't heard them now for a couple of days, I hope I didn't frighten them away. .. a gift from God.

This is a picture I copied and sewed to a piece of fabric. I'm trying to transfer it onto the fabric again. Any way it is a picture of my mom on the left, my grandmother in the middle and my Aunt. The baby is my 1/2 sister Lawanha. I've never met her. But I like the picture alot. I don't have but a few of my mom when she was young, so its special. It was probably taken in the late 40's

I just love this word, it is an ancient word. But it says to me that we are here only temporarily. I love you all, just want you to know it. You inspire me and comfort me, and you all are the best. Even though we have never met face to face and I have lapses of  time when I don't post, and it seems I've fallen off, well, life in session and all that. Just know that I think of and pray for you.
